Founder/President
David Filmore is an award-winning, writer, producer and director. His filmmaking career began at the age of 9 when, using his family's Hi8 camera, he shot a series of one minute stop-motion films with his toy robots, entitled CLANK! Originally from Australia, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for filmmaking. Drawing upon his background in literature and psychology, he strives to make good storytelling the heart of every project.
Katie Beyers brings an extensive literary background and encyclopedic knowledge of film history to her role of Director of Development. She also does double-duty as a producer and is charged with ensuring that every project lives up to our guiding principle -- that quality storytelling be at the heart of everything we do.
Lila McLaughlin is a graduate of the Second City writing program and is currently a fulltime writer working in LA. She spent 7 years at FOX, where she did everything from acquisitions, programming, production AD on live Fox Sports games to Manager of show licensing & development for Fuel TV. Two brilliant short films that Lila wrote & directed did the festival circuit, resulting in getting a TV license deal. She is quite simply the greatest Assistant Director whoever walked the planet.
Su Hyun Kim is originally from Pusan, Korea. With a background in music and literature from her home country, she pursued her Master's in film production at Florida State University. Several films that she wrote, directed or produced have been invited to film festivals worldwide. Su is currently working as our cameraperson.
Richard Ragon is our location and sound mixing genius. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he sees recording sound for film as his calling in life. With his ear for sound, attention to details, and outstanding work ethic, he brings style to the other delivery medium we all take for granted.
